The accelerators are used in conjunction with the crosslink- ing agents to control the crosslinking density and adjusting the curing time. The ratio of accelerators to sulfur determines the efficiency of vulcanizing system. In this compound, the accelerator to sulfur ratio is 0.95 and it means, the vulcanizing system is semi-efficient.
